All The Weapons In Dead Island 2 – Explained

Dead Island is a first-person shooter, action role-playing game in which you must survive on an island populated by zombies and other horrifying creatures. Players get to explore and kill zombies that eat brains. Dead Island 2 contains almost every kind of weapon you need to help you kill a bunch of brain-eating zombies in LA. Here we will mention different weapon rarities in the game.

There are two categories of weapons in Dead Island 2, melee and ranged weapons. Furthermore, the game gives you the option to even upgrade these weapons, giving you access to everything from damage improvements to status effects like a shock.

Weapon Rarity In Dead Island 2:

In Dead Island 2 you can find 5 levels of weapon rarity:

  1.  Common
  2.  Uncommon
  3. Rare
  4. Superior
  5. Legendary

Melee Weaponries In Dead Island 2:

There are four major categories for melee weapons:

 Maiming:

Slicing off the limbs of zombies boosts stamina and aiming limbs results in critical hits.

 Frenzy:

Fast attacks result in critical hits and an overall speed boost.

Bulldozer:

Powerful attacks are all critical hits that result in heavy explosions.

 Head-hunter:

Target heads for critical hits. Powerful attacks increase speed and don’t slow down when charging.

4. Cleaver
5. Baseball bat
6. Axe
7. Pike
8. Wrench
9. Brass Knuckles
10. Pickaxe
11. Claymore

Ranged Weapons In Dead Island 2:

There are four major categories for Ranged weapons:

 Demolition:

Any normal attack on a zombie becomes a crucial attack and reloading boosts toughness.

Tactical:

Crucial attacks are caused by dodging and reload speed increases a lot.

 Sharpshooter:

Targeting mode increases damage and awards critical hits when targeting heads and limbs.

 Rapid-fire:

Rapid shooting results in critical hits and an improvement in aim.

 Ranged Weaponries in Dead Island 2:

  1. SMG
  2. Hunting Rifle
  3. Pistol
  4. Shotgun
  5.  Rail Gun
  6. Carbin
