Phoenix Point Update 1.01 Patch Details: What’s New In Day One Update

Phoenix Point: Behemoth Edition was updated to version 1.01 today Snapshot Games. You can get the complete patch notes from here.

This update is being released ahead of the launch of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. This one adds support for new content as well as several bug fixes. Details on this update can be found in the patch notes given below.

Phoenix Point Update 1.01 Patch Notes

New content added:

– DLC4 “Corrupted Horizons” is added into the game which includes:

* Acheron – the fearsome new enemy;

* Deadly Corruption effects – a new game mechanic that affects the infected soldier’s will to fight. The only way to stop this new plague is to capture and research one of these strange creatures and complete the DLC 4 story arc, but even then, the threat of the Acheron itself will still be present;

* Human-Pandoran hybrid soldiers – Mutoids to offend the new threat.

Bug fixes and performance optimizations and gameplay improvements:

– Frame rate, performance and stability of the game are improved.

– The tutorial of the game is revised and improved.

– Updated sensitivity of the cursor’s movement on Geoscape, now the cursor’s movement will slow down near the points of interest.

– Possibility to move to the right section in Pop-up and windows were added.

– Quick Scrap Section for Personnel, Aircraft and Vehicle inventories was added.

– Fixed an issue that “free aim” can be activated when an enemy is out of sight of a soldier.

– Fixed an issue with unnatural behavior of soldiers and pandorans after returning fire.

– Fixed low resolution of marks on the covered enemies.

– Fixed visual issue with fishman mist on New Jericho maps.

– Fixed visual issue with gauss weapons.

– In tactical missions Info tooltip for soldiers and enemies was updated with a legend about controls.

– Air battle tutorial tooltips became more informative and clear.

– Fixed an issue that in Russian localization male characters have female names.

– Fixed an issue with in game audio balance.

– Fixed an issue with freezes at the beginning of AI turn.

– Fixed an issue with the camera when you aim a grenade in the third level of the tutorial.

– Fixed an issue with scrolling the camera when trying to change audio settings in the settings window.

– Fixed an issue that Settings with multiple sub options doesn’t change in the tutorial.

– Fixed an issue with texture artifacts during Free aim.

– Many texts and localization fixes are added.

– Many other minor fixes and improvements.
