Little Nightmares 2 has been updated for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. This update appears to be live, at least on the PlayStation servers.
The game launched only for PS4 and Xbox One but there was a free upgrade that was promised for the PS5. The game really needs it since it looks quite muddy on the last-generation consoles.
The latest update from the PlayStation tracker appears to show that an update has gone live on the servers. This is for the PS5 version and appears to be a native update. The file size is just 4.5 GB though, so it is quite small.
We don’t know what technical upgrade is being offered for the PS5 or Xbox Series consoles, but that should be cleared during Gamescom since the timing coincides with it. An announcement may be due soon.
