Halo Infinite Technical Preview Doesn’t Have Fruit Physics, But Does It Matter?

GIStaffBy GIStaffAugust 2, 2021No Comments2 Mins Read

The Halo Infinite Technical Preview has recently been released, offering some fans an early look at the multiplayer. Everything was well until someone decided to shoot the fruits.

This appears to be a successful test for the forthcoming Halo Infinite multiplayer. It demonstrates how wonderful the game can be and the potential it has when it is released as a free-to-play title in Fall 2021. While the primary campaign of Halo Infinite will necessitate a purchase, the multiplayer has been confirmed as a free-to-play launch alongside the game.

So, what’s the problem here? Let’s have a look at this video that decides to nitpick the minor details and compares shooting fruits in two different games since, apparently, accurate fruit physics are really essential for a multiplayer match.

The video compares the physics of fruits in Halo Infinite Technical Preview with Call of Duty (Modern Warfare?). It’s only there to point out such a tiny problem in a ‘technical preview’ that we’re not sure why it’s there in the first place.

In terms of the video, it’s simple to understand why the developers didn’t settle on incorporating any fruit physics, or perhaps they did but not in the technical preview. This is such a simple thing that is becoming viral on Twitter, just because it is ludicrous to compare such a meaningless metric.
