It is the 28th entry in the FIFA series, and it was published on Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 9, 2020. The PS5 and Xbox Series versions are completely different from the PC and last-generation consoles.

Addressed the following issue:
- Players were prevented from linking to certain areas of the PlayStation Store.
Based on the patch notes, the only fix is related to players getting blocked from linking to certain areas on the PlayStation Store. While FIFA 22 is coming later this year, its predecessor is still doing well with millions of daily players worldwide.
