Apex Legends has been updated to version 1.62 today on March 22. This update has a small file size and a small list of bug fixes as seen in the patch notes.
This update has only added minor fixes and tweaks to the game. The download size can range from 250 to 500 MB depending on your platform. The update should be available to download now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Get the patch notes below.
Apex Legends Update 1.62 Patch Notes
- Changed the prevent 5k damage badge with heat shields and turned it down to 1k
- You can now turn off the Survival Slot to get weapon inspect back on controller
According to Respawn, this fix is related to one of the recent skins for Watson.
During our most recent collection event there was a bug with Wattson’s Electric Blue skin that caused her textures to go missing. We’ve since shipped the fix and fully refunded anyone who bought the skin before the fix went live. Refunded players keep the fixed skin.
