Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, bringing Lara Croft’s acclaimed adventure to Nintendo’s latest console complete with all downloadable content and bonus features included.
Originally released as the second entry in Crystal Dynamics’ Survivor Trilogy, the game follows Lara as she embarks on a dangerous expedition into Siberia in search of the Divine Source, a mysterious artefact believed to grant immortality. Her quest places her in direct conflict with Trinity, a powerful secret organisation also seeking the ancient relic.
The adventure combines cinematic storytelling with exploration, combat, and environmental puzzle-solving. Throughout the campaign, players will traverse harsh wilderness environments, uncover hidden tombs filled with traps and puzzles, and gather resources to craft equipment and improve Lara’s abilities. Combat encounters offer multiple approaches, allowing players to engage enemies directly or rely on stealth tactics to infiltrate Trinity’s forces.
One of the game’s major attractions remains its optional Challenge Tombs, which feature elaborate puzzles and platforming sequences hidden away from the main story. These tombs reward players with valuable upgrades and provide some of the most memorable moments in the adventure.
The Nintendo Switch 2 release includes the complete 20 Year Celebration package, bundling every piece of post-launch content released for the game. This includes the story expansions Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, Cold Darkness Awakened, Blood Ties, and Lara’s Nightmare, alongside Endurance Mode and Co-op Endurance.
Players also gain access to all previously released bonus content, including 8 DLC outfits, 7 DLC weapons, 35 Expansion Cards, the Extreme Survivor difficulty mode, 5 classic Lara Croft character skins, and the Tomb Raider III Reimagined Antarctica outfit.
With the full collection now available on Nintendo Switch 2, players can experience Lara Croft’s Siberian adventure in its most complete form, featuring the base game and every major expansion released for the title.
