Everspace 2 – List Of All The Best Weapons

AshBy AshApril 21, 2023No Comments3 Mins Read

In this article, we will guide you with all the best weapons available in Everspace 2 that players can equip on their journey.

From the makers of the first Everspace game, Rockfish Games has released the second part of the game. Everspace 2 is a quick-paced space shooter game, along with exploration in space and on planets. Players have been given a lot of RPG elements and much more. Overall, the game skillfully balances space-blasting fun with a rich, engaging story.

Primary Weapons In Everspace 2:

Primary weapons do not require ammunition, rather they have an Energy Capacity that gets consumed as they fire. Players can equip a total of two to three weapons on a ship. These weapons include:

  • Flak :

The weapon itself is very effective and is used as a medium-range weapon. Flak has burst fire that explodes upon hit and causes damage in a radial pattern around it. The damage dealt with the Flak Cannon is very amazing and it can be repeatedly fired because of its big energy capacity.

  •  Rail Gun:

Its specialty is that it comes with an upgrade called ‘Marksman’ which helps it fire at a target over 4.5km away. It is a long-range weapon. The damage dealt with this gun is more likely to be Energy damage than kinetic damage as heavy kinetic damage can be done with close-range weapons.

  • Thermo Gun:

The Thermo Gun comes with the kind of bullets that are so efficient at targeting, which gives the players a plus point by rarely missing a shot. It has a moderate range and quite a capacity for energy. The best way to use this weapon is by destroying the shields of the opponents as it deals a lot of Energy damage.

  • Gauss Cannon:

Our next primary weapon is a short-range weapon in Everspace 2. Judging by the time it takes to achieve its maximum fire rate, it does deal severe damage, unlike those other weapons. The Gauss Cannon deals huge amounts of Energy and Kinetic damage.

Secondary Weapons:

These are the kind of weapons that play a very important role in Everspace 2. Secondary weapons do require ammunition and deal with huge damage.

  •  Cruise Missiles:

This weapon is the most fatal weapon in Everspace 2. The damage dealt with this weapon is over 100,000 under the correct conditions. It deals both kinetic and energy damage and only the biggest bosses and heavy ships can withstand cruise Missile blasts.

  •  Destabilizer Missiles:

Destabilizer Missiles are very useful in destroying every opponent’s defenses. They work Fast and load up quickly and are excellent at finding out the targets. This weapon does not deal damage itself. Instead, they inflict a debuff that makes the take more damage.

  • Homing Missiles:

The speed to lock onto the target of these weapons is very fast and their kinetic damage is extremely high. Players can upgrade it with either ‘Marksman’ for long-range or ‘high-Capacity’ for a vast amount of ammunition.

That’s all you need to know about the best weapons available in Everspace 2.
