Dredge – How Long To Beat The Game?

AshBy AshApril 6, 2023No Comments2 Mins Read

This comprehensive guide will help you comprehend the approximate course of time to beat Dredge.

Dredge is a Single-player fishing adventurous game with some dark secrets beneath the depths. The game is filled with mysteries, secrets, quests, and a sinister undercurrent. Players will explore the stories of the strange locals and discover why some things are best left forgotten.

Life in Dredge is absolutely Lovecraftian, terribly menacing, and addictive all at once. The situation begins innocently enough: My poor, unidentified fisherman has destroyed his boat close to the sleepy island settlement of Greater Marrow. In all of Dredge’s minigames, fishing is as easy as pressing the button when the moving target lands in a green zone. They range in complexity from a ball that simply spins in place to one that swings back and forth between two curved bars.

Overall, the dredge is a thrilling adventure and it depends on what your playing style is to complete the game.

How Long To Beat Dredge:

Finishing the game totally depends on what approach you are playing. It will take less time if you plan to only go through the simple main storyline. However, it will cost you more of it if you plan to do fishing and make some money. Here is a breakdown of the approximate time length:

  • Completing just the main story will cost you around 10m- 12 hours of playtime
  • Standard playthrough including the side quests will take around 13 – 16 hours
  • Completing the game 100% will take up to 17 – 22 hours

When you’re out on the river, Dredge offers a variety of side quests, or “Pursuits”. While some activities must be completed in order to progress, others are wholly optional and come with cash and upgrades as prizes. They will increase your playtime significantly and take you all over the map.

The game is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
