Somber Smithing Stone is an upgrading material used for great and unique weapons of Elden Ring. There is certainly no familiarity between Smithing Stones and Somber Smithing Stones. 

Where To Find Somber Smithing Stone In Elden Ring

To get Somber Smithing Stone, you have to visit a Blacksmith. In Elden Ring, an easily reachable blacksmith is Smithing Master Hewg. You will find him at the Table Of Lost Grace. 

Locations:

You can chase the Somber Smithing Stones in the following locations:

  • Visit Limgrave Tunnels and when you go inside the tunnels you will find a Somber Smithing Stone here.
  • Another Somber Smithing Stone can be traced down while visiting the Waypoint Ruins. You will find one on a corpse to the west of it.
  • The other Somber Smithing Stone can be hunted down to the Southwest of Deathtouched Catacombs. Once you reach there, Somber Smithing Stone will be found by the Teardrop Scarab. 
  • You can also find one on the Southwest shore of the church of Dragon Communication Island.
